  • Mongol Rally 2018

Some time in 2017 I decided I would be shipping my motorcycle to Agadir, Morocco and then riding to Romania, ahead of the 2018 Mongol Rally. After some time, I decided to go for the full adventure of riding from Cape Agulhas, the most southern point of Africa to Europe. I picked the route across the western coast because it is less touristy and at the same time, less known. My intention is to reach Nordkapp, but it really depends on the timing, as I want to make it to the start of the 2018 edition of Mongol Rally.

Here you can find all the posts that are connected with my adventure across Africa, ordered chronologically.

Post list (so far):

  • Day 3 – Resting at Hobas campsite and sunset at Fish River Canyon (4/14/2020)
  • Day 2 – First border crossing and being declared a non-desirable person in South Africa (3/21/2020)
  • Day 1 – South Africa (2/9/2020)
  • Day 0 – Cape Town preparations (3/10/2018)
  • Cape Town (3/4/2018)
  • Africa, so it begins (2/11/2018)

A rough route I will be following is:
